What is Cashew Apple?

The cashew apple is the fleshy part of cashews that is attached to the cashew nut. It is light reddish to a yellow fruit whose pulp with a sweet but astringent taste. There are many health benefits of Cashew Apple Juice like it helps in weight loss etc.

In India, the production is plentiful but due to its perishable nature, the fruit is seldom available. The fruit has a soft skin, which makes its transportation hard.
